Sunday School and Youth

Grace Church welcomes worshippers of all ages!

Our nursery is an inviting, carpeted space just down the hall from the sanctuary. Care is offered at the ten fifteen service for children up to age three.

We are offering an exciting Sunday School program for children from age four up to ten. Godly Play is a Montessori-based, hands-on approach to encountering the holy; children hear stories, respond with art or other creations, and experience all within a framework of gentle ritual--and thus begin to learn reverence. At Grace Church, children actually look forward to Sunday School, because it is so much fun. (No kidding). Sunday School meets during the 10:15 service during the school year.

Rite 13 is our middle school youth group. The Rite 13 participants meet with four dedicated and very different adult leaders (one of whom happens to be a community non-profit leader, one of whom happens to be a teacher, and another of whom happens to be a boy scout leader: all of whom are lively and wonderful people) to discuss what it means to grow up in our society, and where God fits into their lives. Rite 13 meets from 10 until communion time each Sunday (except in summer), and welcomes new members any time.

These programs, as well as our adult classes, are housed in the recently renovated, cozy rooms in the Lower Parish Hall.
