Welcome From the Rector
Welcome to Grace Church!
Or at least to the pale virtual version of Grace Church that exists in cyberspace. If you were to come to the real, vibrant, physical Grace Church, you would find :
..A warm welcome, a chance to worship God in a way that will leave you feeling engaged and uplifted, and a cup of really really strong coffee afterwards...
..A lively community of people old and young, white-collar, blue collar, no-collar, clerical-collar, remarkable in wisdom, rich in humor, and blessed with wonderful affection for each other...
..A wide and varied range of opportunities to serve, from liturgical service at the altar, to outreach service in our communities.
We, together with several other local churches, are the Bath Area Food Bank. We offer meals at the Tedford Shelter. We are a covenant church of Habitat for Humanity. We visit the elderly and shut in. Our missionaries travel to Haiti, and to the assisted living community around the corner. The list goes on, and on, and we search actively for new ways to serve...
...Company and support on your spiritual journey. There are no perfect people at Grace Church. You don't have to be one either. Christ came to all of us just as we are - and gives us the grace not to stay that way. Through worship and service, through laughter and prayer and pastoral care, we help each other grow more and more into the image of Christ.
You can learn more about our programs and ministries on this web site. But the reality of life at Grace is deeper and richer than a computer can ever convey. Come find out. Come join us at Grace.
Yours faithfully,
(The Rev.) Michael N. Ambler, Jr.
